For coding agents

Teach your agent to deploy right the first time.

Two skills give Claude Code and Codex the RightSide playbook: how to prepare a project, deploy it, prove the public URL works, and repair a failed deploy from its error code and logs.

Install

rightside skills install

rightside skills install copies the skills that ship with the CLI into ~/.claude/skills for Claude Code and ~/.agents/skills for Codex. Restart the agent afterwards. Run it again after rightside self-update to pick up newer skills.

  • --agent claude or --agent codex: install for one agent only (default: both).
  • --scope project: install into .claude/skills and .agents/skills of the current directory, so everyone working on the repository gets them.
  • --json: one machine-readable result listing each file and whether it was installed, updated or unchanged.

The skills

SkillWhat the agent does
rightside-deployChecks the login, classifies the project (static site, full-stack app, separate frontend and backend, AI app), prepares a Dockerfile and rightside.json, loads secrets without putting them in chat, deploys, and fetches the live URL and key routes before it reports success.
rightside-fixReads the error code, its suggested fix, the status and the logs, maps the cause to a fix, redeploys and re-verifies. It rolls back first when a new release broke a live app.

What the skills tell your agent to say plainly

The skills only describe what RightSide supports today. When a project needs something it does not support, such as background workers, cron jobs, WebSockets, response streaming, object storage, GPUs or raw TCP, the agent tells you and sends the RightSide team a feature request instead of building a workaround.
