Reference

The common commands.

Use --json when another program or coding agent consumes the result. Human-readable output is the default for terminal use.

Setup and diagnostics

rightside login --url https://api.rightside.host
rightside install claude
rightside install codex
rightside doctor
rightside doctor --json
rightside logout

Projects and releases

rightside projects create my-app
rightside deploy . --name my-app
rightside status my-app --json
rightside logs my-app --runtime
rightside rollback my-app

Deleting cannot be undone, so it needs the project’s exact slug. Without --confirm nothing is deleted and the command shows what would be.

rightside projects delete-database my-app --confirm my-app
rightside projects delete my-app --confirm my-app

Project environment

Variables are injected into the app at runtime, never into the build. Secret values are write-only: they are never shown again and are redacted from logs.

rightside env list my-app
rightside env set API_URL=https://example.com --project my-app
rightside env set API_KEY --secret --stdin --project my-app
rightside env unset API_URL --project my-app
rightside env import .env --secret --apply --project my-app

Add --apply to serve the change now through a safe restart of the live release; otherwise it takes effect on the next deploy.
